Today I participated in the certificate awarding ceremony for the “Job Placement Counseling” program, during which 33 employment officers were certified, who will contribute to providing better quality services to citizens.
Employment officers are the first face of our institutions for thousands of citizens. For this reason, they must be equipped not only with professional knowledge, but also with good communication skills, empathy and a deep understanding of the needs of the labor market.
Investing in people who every day help citizens find a job and build a more secure future for themselves and their families is an investment in the economic development of our country.
During the ceremony, I had the honor to meet German professors, Prof. Dr. Bernd-Joachim Ertelt and Prof. Michael Scharpf, whom I thank for their valuable contribution and support.
I would like to thank in particular our German partners 🇩🇪, GIZ, INfaBW and the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the German Federal Employment Agency, as well as all those who contributed to this process. Their commitment is helping to raise the professional standards of employment services in Kosovo.
I also express my sincere gratitude to the University of Pristina for their cooperation and contribution.
I wish the employment officers much success in their professional journey and thank them for the commitment they give every day in the service of our citizens.
