Inspection enters the digital age: real-time, transparent and more efficient inspections
Today we launched the Electronic System for Case Management of the Labor Inspectorate, an important reform that modernizes the inspection process and strengthens the protection of workers’ rights in the Republic of Kosovo.
This system will increase efficiency, transparency and institutional accountability, enabling faster and more professional management of inspection cases.
Through this system, inspections will be based more on evidence and risk analysis, with a special focus on sectors where occupational safety remains a serious challenge, such as construction and industry.
In parallel with digitalization, we will continue with other important reforms: drafting the new Law on the Labor Inspectorate, the Draft Labor Law, the Inspectorate’s Communication Strategy and the recruitment of new inspectors.
Our goal is clear: a fairer, safer labor market and modern institutions that serve citizens with professionalism and transparency.
I thank the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Government of Sweden and all partners who supported this important reform for the modernization of the state and the protection of our workers
