The Minister of the Ministry of Labor, Family and Values of the Liberation War, Mr. Andin Hoti, visited the Handikos organization in Ferizaj where he was received by the executive director, Mr. Enver Kosumi, the staff, and the parents with the children who benefit from the services.
During the visit to the Handikos organization in Ferizaj, together with the executive director, Mr. Enver Kosumi, I had the pleasure of meeting Blerina Murtezi, author of several books and beneficiary of the services within the group of young people with disabilities.

From the staff of the organization and the parents of the beneficiary children, we were closely acquainted with the challenges and needs that require institutional treatment and addressing.
These meetings are important for the process of building the most effective policies and mechanisms.
With the processing of the Draft Law on Assessment, Recognition of Status, Benefits and Services for Persons with Disabilities and the amendments to the legislation affecting persons with disabilities, we have taken concrete steps to harmonize the legal aspect, while we have also allocated 2.5 million euros for financial support for projects of licensed NGOs in the field of providing social and family services.
