I had the pleasure of hosting representatives of the World Bank, with whom we continued coordination on reforms in the field of social protection and the next steps in the implementation of the SAS project.
The focus of the discussion was the Draft Law on Social Assistance, which aims to eliminate discrimination that has affected families that are truly in need, to prevent misuse of the scheme and, at the same time, to create opportunities for beneficiaries able to work to integrate into the labor market through employment programs, vocational training and training.
I thanked the World Bank for its partnership and continued support in advancing reforms that are building a fairer, more efficient and more sustainable social protection system in the Republic of Kosovo.
