Minister Hoti met with representatives from the Coalition of Local Organizations (IKS, QIPS, GLPS, and QPA). The discussion covered topics including employment, workers’ rights, occupational health and safety, social policies, and the integration of individuals with mental health challenges into the labor market.
During the meeting, the Minister for Labor, Family, and Values of the Liberation War, Mr. Andin Hoti, outlined reforms currently underway within the Central Labor Inspectorate. These include initiatives to advance legislation, strengthen social dialogue, and increase women’s participation in the labor market. The digitalization of inspections and the recruitment of 39 new inspectors were also discussed.
Collaboration with civil society remains vital for developing better and more inclusive policies in the areas of employment and social protection.
