Approximately 40 participants—including representatives from Centers for Social Work and social service providers from civil society organizations—were briefed on the new inspection approach, which is based on established standards and criteria.
The primary objective of the Guide—the presentation of which was also attended by the Deputy Minister, Mr. Agon Dobruna aims to establish clear procedures, standardized work steps, and practical tools for conducting inspections of social and family services.
The inspection process is not intended solely to identify non-compliance or impose administrative measures; rather, its primary goal is the continuous improvement of service quality, ensuring adherence to the standards and criteria set forth in current legislation, and guaranteeing that services are delivered in a professional, safe, accessible, and inclusive manner—always in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
The methodology outlined in the Guide draws upon international best practices, adapted to the local context and legal framework.
